I'm trying a lot of new things on this journey to health. Here's a list of the things I like best.

My Fitbit. I have the Alta HR. I love this thing. It does so much more than keep track of my steps. It prompts me to get up an move every hour. It intuitively knows when I'm working out. It keeps track of my sleep patterns. It monitors my heart rate. I get a weekly report (via email) telling me how I've done and compares the numbers to last week. All the data is stored on my dashboard and I can see my progress (or lack thereof).

WW Mobile App. This is the third (fourth?) time I've done Weight Watchers. It is by far the easiest, thanks to this app. With my smartphone I can keep track of everything I've eaten (no writing it down). There's a QR scanner, restaurant guide and huge database to help me find the point value for foods (no more lugging around guides or fearing the info is outdated). Best part: WW syncs with my Fitbit, keeping track of my activity. I find this to be very motivational.

Map My Walk. This free app is great.
